A recent Gilani poll conducted by Gallup Pakistan shows that, majority of all Pakistanis appeared to be against the special night time packages which the telecom companies provide to the customers; 72% support the Punjab assembly's resolution for putting restriction on such packages, 14% oppose the resolution and 14% gave no response. When asked whether these night time packages created negative impact on the youth, 74% claimed to agree, 10% disagree with this notion and 16% were unsure. The findings of the data reveal no significant difference in opinion of people from across various demographics.
The recent Gilani poll was conducted in Pakistan by Gallup Pakistan, affiliated with Gallup International Association, among a sample of 2761 men and women from rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during February 2010.
