Views on Pakistani Cricket Team's Defeat in Australia; 44% Believe the Team Played Poorly
 
 
A recent Gilani poll conducted by Gallup Pakistan shows that, forty four percent of all Pakistanis claim that the cricket team lost against Australia because of the over all poor performance of the team in both batting and fielding. The remaining cited other reasons for Pakistani cricket team's defeat such as the inefficiency of the cricket board (15%), mediocre performance of the captain (8%) and bad luck (13%), while others (20%) were unsure.

The recent Gilani poll was conducted in Pakistan by Gallup Pakistan, affiliated with Gallup International Association, among a sample of 2761 men and women from rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during February 2010.
