83% of Pakistanis Appear to be Unhappy with the IPL Selection and Do not Want these Cricket Matches to be Telecasted in Pakistan
 
 
A recent Gilani poll conducted by Gallup Pakistan shows that, majority of all Pakistanis have shown discontentment with the IPL selection process whereby no Pakistani cricketer was chosen to play at the 3rd Indian premier league matches despite being present at the auction; 83% claim they do not want these matches to be broadcasted in Pakistan whereas 15% support telecasting IPL cricket matches and 2% are unsure.

The recent Gilani poll was conducted in Pakistan by Gallup Pakistan, affiliated with Gallup International Association, among a sample of 2622 men and women from rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during January 2010.
