3 out of 4 Pakistanis Households Suffered from Flu in December

A Gilani poll conducted by Gallup Pakistan shows that, majority of all Pakistanis (73%) claim that at least one person in their household has been affected by flu in the month of December 2009, while the remaining 27% say none of their family members caught flu/cold in this month or gave no response. The average number of persons living in a household in Pakistan is a little higher than 6 persons. The household size is defined as number of persons living under the same roof and eating from the same kitchen.

This Gilani poll was conducted in Pakistan by Gallup Pakistan, affiliated with Gallup International Association, among a sample of 2780 men and women from rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during December 2009.
