Winters in Pakistan; One Third of Pakistanis Use Heating to Protect Against Cold Weather
 
 
A recent Gilani poll conducted by Gallup Pakistan shows that, one third claim to use some form of special heating to protect from themselves from the cold weather; 19% claim to use gas heaters, 11% make use of coal, 7% use electric heaters, and 1% say they use some other form of heating. These maybe used frequently or infrequently. The remaining two third (62%) claim to not use anything to keep them protected from the cold weather.

The recent Gilani poll was conducted in Pakistan by Gallup Pakistan, affiliated with Gallup International Association, among a sample of 2780 men and women from rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during December 2009.
