More than 50% of Pakistanis prefer meat
 
 
A recent poll shows that 52% Pakistanis would prefer meat, 37% would choose vegetables, and 10% would like to have pulses if the financial constraints were removed and price was kept constant. Chicken has maintained its position as the largest source of meat consumption in Pakistan.

The poll was conducted in Pakistan by Gallup Pakistan, affiliated with Gallup International Association, among a sample of 2562 men and women from rural and urban areas in all four provinces of the country during 19
